My Christmas Blog

Well the house is a mess but outside is looking pretty good.
G'ma's been busy outside while G'pa makes a mess inside. Beats going out in the dark at night.

Raleigh and I are hanging in there 'cause I'm told it's that time of year when Sandy Claws comes. I'm trying to be good. I don't know about Raleigh, but we both had to put up with picture taking by G'ma and it was hard to keep sitting still. "Dang, it's cccooooold out here, wwwwwoooman!" Stupid Raleigh just sits there - "Pozzzer"
Anyway, I hope you all out there are bein' good, 'cause Sandy Claws is coming sometime....I think....pretty sure....unless this is a mean hoax.....naaaah.....
.....maybe he'll bring me BACON.....yeah yeah BACON!

Catch up time...

Just wanted to catch you humans upon my dog's life. I know how you like to keep an eye on us pampered pets. So, I've been catching up on my reading with G'pa. He turns the pages a little fast and it ticks me off when I'm really getting into the story. Oh well, I'm only into books with pictures anyway.
As you can see from this photo, I'm in the midst of house renovation - Again. What's up with this family? They always seem to be tearing up a floor somewhere and moving stuff around. Just when I get comfy, something else moves.
Well, just as long as my food bowl doesn't disappear, we'll be ok.

OWOOOoooo-rrf...

Got my workout the other night. Weird creatures kept showing up at the door. Grandma or Grandpa Miller would get up, toss them treats and close the door. Note: No matter how much I howled, there were NO treats being tossed my way. How Rude! To make things worse, Grandma insisted on putting that stupid green outfit on with the annoying part that they keep trying to pull my ears through - AUGH! The only redeeming part of this ritual was watching Raleigh get strapped with my pumpkin outfit; not as constraining as mine, but at least I'm not alone in my torment. I feel I've been keeping up my duty as "Howler In Chief", so I'm not sure why I must endure these embarrassments. At any rate, I will give Grandma kudos for remembering bedtime treats at the end of the evening.
"Until next time, Keep your nose to the ground and tail in the air."
